Jesus Announces the Good News

Kingdom is mentioned over one-hundred times in the New Testament but yet it is not constantly preached about in the church today. Jesus preached about the Kingdom and yet most believers have no idea what it is about. We are focused more on what denomination we are from and what rules we do and do not follow. No where in the word of God does the King mention denominations of Christianity but instead He preached about the Kingdom of God.

“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” (Matthew 4:23)

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” (Matthew 9:35)

“After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:14-15)

Jesus said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.” (Luke 4:43)

“Now it came to pass, afterward, that went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God.” (Luke 8:1)

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.” (Luke 16:16-17)

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
